Objectives

Program targets

By the end of 2008 the project will deliver the following targeted outcomes in the Northern Territory:

  • Accelerated Literacy will be successfully implemented in 100 Northern Territory schools (90% of which will be in remote areas)
  • Targeted support will be provided to 10,000 students
  • 700 teachers will be trained in the Accelerated Literacy methodology
 
  • 370 teachers will receive training to enable them to operate as in-school coordinators for Accelerated Literacy
