Amata School, Anangu Lands, northern South Australia

Focussing on the literacy development of four students, this case study examines the improvements in children attending the remote Amata School (500 kilometres southwest of Alice Springs) during the implementation of the Scaffolding Literacy program between 1998 and 2000.

Kulkarriya Community School, Kimberley region, Western Australia

This case study outlines the reflections of the school's Principal, Josh Bell, on the successful implementation of the Scaffolding Literacy program at Kulkarriya Community School between March and September 2001.
